What is Bias Binding

Bias binding is a staple of the sewing world. You take a piece of fabric and cut it 'on the bias' (or diagonally) and then you use this to finish (bind) the edges of an item of clothing or other projects you can think of.

The bias binding may be folded and pressed in different styles either to make working with the trim easier or for decorative reasons.
